JULIA HALBERSTAM

Julia
learned the value of hard work early in life. Born in Russia and adopted at a young age, she grew up understanding that progress comes from consistency and effort, not shortcuts. That mindset has shaped her path in both sport and life. Julia is a two-time CrossFit Games adaptive athlete who placed second in the world in 2025, earning her results through years of dedicated training.

Julia balances elite training with a demanding career outside the gym. She works full-time with Mothers Against Drunk Driving and serves as an on-call medical advocate at CARE Healing Center during nights and weekends, supporting individuals during some of their most difficult moments. Alongside her work, she is preparing to begin nursing school in the fall of 2026 with the goal of becoming a forensic nurse.

Training is not something Julia fits in when life allows. It is part of how she lives. Between long workdays, on-call hours, and preparing for school, she continues to train and compete at a high level. Julia represents Hard Work Athletics by showing up daily and earning everything she achieves, both in the gym and in everyday life.
